What happened

SATSA’s profile at a time of COVID-19 has been widely lauded on independent social media platforms and through email feedback. SATSA members consistently praise the communications and leadership role played by SATSA throughout the crisis. How we did it

Big Ambitions replaced the marketing and communications resource within SATSA becoming an extension of that organisation and driving its communications, PR and marketing.  The Big Ambitions team servicing SATSA includes high-level thought leaders in tourism and support staff, including design, coordination and content creation. In addition to driving the crisis communications around tourism safety in South Africa on behalf of SATSA, Big Ambitions has also run the communications throughout the COVID-19 crisis, including the development of a COVID-19 microsite updated daily, member newsletters and hosting webinars and thought leadership discussions.

But, don’t take our word for it…

Responsible for SATSA’s communications, PR and marketing, the team at Big Ambitions is fully embedded in the tourism and travel sectors. They are exceptionally well connected within the industry and understand it intimately having had first-hand experience of it.

Big Ambitions has made a massive contribution to the association, delivering both strategic and operational support in rolling out the association’s communications to the membership base, external stakeholders and the media.

Because they speak the language of tourism and travel, they are quick to grasp concepts and this, coupled with their commitment to working fast, ensures they are a dynamic communications partner.

They certainly deliver above and beyond the brief, are excellent with crisis communication and are accessible all the time. I would highly recommend them as a preferred partner.
